Rob and Amanda

Robert and Amanda, Norley St Johns Church

Robert is the younger brother of one of our oldest friends who was also our best man at our wedding. So we have known Rob for a long time. They came to us when they got engaged and we were delighted to be asked to photograph their wedding.

It was at Rob's parents house in the village of Norley where we grew up and they walked to the local church. The whole day was a relaxed and village fete feel. It suited them down to a tee!!

Amanda prepared for the big day at a local hotel with her bridesmaids. It was a calm and relaxed morning.

Amanda is one of those beautiful people who the camera just loves. She is so photogenic and every picture is just gorgeous!!

Amanda did her own hair in soft waves and a plait, which worked so well with her dress and handmade bouquets . Its suited their beachy theme perfectly.

Robert was at his parents house getting ready and then walked down to the Church with his best man Felix. Robert didnt want to wear the classic Morning suit for the wedding and opted for a customised suit to best work for him.

They had made all the felt button holes in a vibrant orange. The grooms men all wore different suits but were brought together with their ties and flowers.

Rob's customised suit of course had to be with shorts. I am not sure i could have envisioned him in anything other than shorts and i think everyone who knows him was not surprised!!
Luckily it was a lovely day so there was not a goose bump in sight!!

Amanda arrived with her bridesmaids and her dad in their transporter van, driven by Alex our best friend.

I love the above picture as Amanda is waiting to go into Church. The pensive look and the light at thids point all just happened at the right moment. The Vicar at the Church does not like photographs during the service, so they don't have many of them getting married, but we got the classics like signing the register and walking down the isle.

I totally love Rob's animated face on all the pictures. I dont think he stayed still ever! He really was having an amazing day which just shines through. I love how excited Rob and Felix look to see one another.
As the Wedding was in Norley, the village where we all grew up together we new some beautiful roads to just go for a walk with Rob and Amanda so we could get some pictures of them on their own. So we trundled down the road at the side of the Church for about 10 minutes.

The boys decorating the Van just before we left!!

We could have literally got Rob to do what ever we wanted him to do, he was really up for it, there was talk of him hopping on top of the Transporter and Surfing Teen Wolf Stylee. We decided it might not be the best idea to end up in A and E on your wedding day and pulled it back.

As much as they may be a little daft and play around, they really do look totally loved up in these pictures. Match made in heaven!!

The wedding reception was back at Rob's parents house, where they had a marquee in the garden.
Rob and Amanda had made pretty much everything for the wedding including their own cocktails and brewed their own cider. I have a lot of detail shots as they had put in so much work to everything they had there.

The day was a fulfilled, yummy food, good drink dance the night away kind of wedding. Everyone was relaxed and just had an amazing time.

Rob and Amanda hired the local ice cream makers bike and served everyone an ice cream. Cheshire Ice Cream Farm are like a right of passage when you are in cheshire as they are beyond amazing! We grew up eating them and they are by far some of the best icecreams EVER! http://www.cheshirefarmicecream.co.uk

The Amazing camper van was painted byRob's mums children that she child minds.

A flute of Champagne for Rob and a pint of champagne for Felix!! Didt really help with the best man speech nerves!!

This photograph will be testament as to wether Alex reads my blog!!

Obviously everyone needs a good stretch before embarking on the first marital dance!!!
very sensible Robert!!

Everyone watching the couple have their first dance.

Rob and Amanda's wedding was so much fun and an absolute charm to be part of. It truly didnt feel like we were working as we had such a good time. Helped that we knew everyone there for almost all of our lives.

Congratulations guys, you are a perfect fit xxx
