Lisa and Dave Thornton Manor

Lisa and Dave

Lisa and Dave's wedding was at Thornton Manor in The Waterside Pavilion.
They had their wedding ceremony at the family Church and had a nuptial mass, I always love these ceremonies as they are close to our heart as it was what we chose for our wedding day too!

Lisa got ready at her parents home and when we arrived everyone was relaxed and having a fabulous time. No one seemed stressed or nervous!!

Lisa had wanted her flowers to looked liked they had been scooped up from a meadow and they looked just like that!! a real wild flower bouquet and absolutely stunning.

Lisa's dress was a mixture of ethereal vintage and boho beauty, it totally suited her and was beautiful

Lisa and her twin sister

The couple were nothing but a joy to work with all day as they valued the importance of photo's and knew what they wanted, but because they enjoyed their day and each other so much it was just a pleasure to photograph. They didn't become awkward when they knew we were lurking around in the background capturing their day.

We try and only photograph what is going on a couples day without too many formal pictures, but we always take the couple for a small walk for about 5-10 minutes to get some extra special pictures that not all your guests get too. Something new for everyone to see that has not been all over Facebook already. The grounds of Thornton Manor were stunning and they day was perfect.

One of our more formal group shots but everyone loves a catalogue pose!!

The venue really did look stunning and fitted their look so well. I have had to stop myself putting hundreds more photo's on because they all look fab.

Was a real pleasure to photograph and we think the pictures look fab. Always love photographing weddings but this one was so easy and relaxed as Lisa and Dave were just so happy and had fun with the pictures too!!

  1. Ah! I love black and white photographs, it seems like freezing the right moment perfectly. Even my wedding photographs had black and white pictures, moreover it was in one of the San Francisco event venues that was amazingly beautiful and huge.
